Quantum Battles in Attoscience

Quantum Battles in Attoscience. A 3-day international workshop, taking place 1-3 July 2020 at UCL, sponsored by CECAM, CCPQ, UK-AMOR, UCLQ and IOP. The deadline for abstract submission is 30 April. The workshop is focused on studying and debating approaches to the quantum aspects of attoscience. It aims at exploring areas of tension in a collegial and controlled way and at providing a debating platform for early career researchers and leaders in the field. Panel discussions and debates (battles) will take place on: bound/continuum dynamics; electron-electron correlation; tunnelling, quantum interference & non-classicality; analytical vs ab-initio methods; and other topics to be announced (including contributed topics). The discussions will be led by international experts and ‘fought over’ by early career researchers. There will also be a poster session. Registration is now open.
